Sunday Service

Greetings, beautiful community,

As we celebrate the crossover of Autumn towards Winter, with celebrations like Diwali (the celebration of light being victorious over darkness) and All Hallows’ Eve (the celebration of the thinning of the veils and last harvest), the portals of passing and existence meet!

In honor of these holy days, also including Day of the Dead, All Souls and and All Saints Days, we would like to share with you some meaningful and seasonally appropriate offerings around death, dying, and ancestral remembrance.

This Sunday, November 3rd, 3pm-4:30, we will be gathering for a guided meditation and intentional closing of the seasonal cycle, entering the still space of the gestational potential of Winter.

We will be creating an altar as a community, so feel free to bring something special to place on it (which you can bring home afterward). We’ll be honoring our dearly departed, our beloved ancestors, and the intentional practices of remembering. All are invited to participate in a ceremonial burning of names, intentions, inscriptions, and prayers, within the flames of our community fire. For this ritual we will be gathering at Dawnstar Lodge (the yurt) to utilize the fireplace for this event.

We will also be sharing upcoming updates to schedule, offerings, and website. We look forward to seeing you all in sacred community this Sunday!

Dawnstar Lodge - Healing Arts Community Center is located at 9416 Miller Creek Rd. in Missoula, Montana, 59803 (located four-and-a-half miles UP Miller Creek Rd., on the left)
